PRS Office personnel and their families had a two day break last April 27 and 28, 2013 to beat the high rising temperature of the metropolis by going to the beach. Hosted by its Vice-Chairman and concurrently Vice-President, Engr. C. E. Corleto, the company’s yearly outing this summer was held at Villamar Beach Resort, partly owned by Engr. Corleto’s Family. The beach is located at Noveleta, Cavite, a 30 minute 24 km drive from Manila via the newly constructed Cavitex expressway.
The second day of the affair saw the members of the Board of Trustees and their families arriving to make the affair more cheerful and festive. While everybody enjoyed singing with the provided videoke and swimming in the beach’s clean and calm waters, the members of the board of trustees held their scheduled monthly board meeting. During the meeting, the budget for FY 2013 was deliberated and approved. The projected transfer of the PRS Office from Binondo to Legaspi Tower in Roxas Blvd. was also discussed but short of approval as the term and conditions of the lease contract has not been formally finalized with the unit owner and the Legaspi Tower’s Administrator.
A sumptuous lunch of Cavite’s well-known sea foods was tendered by Engr. Corleto and his wife, Atty Mira Corleto, to the delight of everyone. The affair afforded everybody the needed opportunity to relax and renew their energy to be more productive and ready for the challenges ahead especially with the forth coming single classification society implementation.
