As a regular member of Philippine Interisland Shipping Association (PISA), PRS once again sponsored and participated in the annual PISA Maritime Golf Tournament last 18 March 2013. No less than the President of PRS, Atty. P. V. Vergel de Dios, Jr., and its ex-officio trustee, Carlos Yturzaeta, of the Marine Underwriters Association of the Philippines (MUAP) joined the tournament in the spirit of camaraderie and support for the Association.

One of the highlights of the tournament is the audio-visual presentation of sponsors-companies about their companies’ services and activities. PRS presentation highlighted the recurring ship accidents resulting in loss of lives/properties and marine pollution and the desirable partnership between government (thru MARINA and PCG) and the class society to prevent them from happening. It also cited the impressive credentials of the PRS Management Team who are totally committed to achieving the highest classification society standards under ISO 9001:2008 QMS with particular emphasis placed upon reliability, proven expertise, competitiveness and international recognition.
